This product protects you from financial losses caused by unauthorised transactions that occur without your consent.
Examples of covered scenarios:
Hacked accounts - Someone gains access to your bank account, debit/credit card, or digital wallet and makes unauthorised transactions.
Stolen banking credentials - Cybercriminals steal your online banking details through hacking, malware, or phishing and initiate fund transfers.
Compromised digital wallets - An unauthorized individual gains access to your stored payment wallet and transfers funds without your approval.
Phishing scams leading to unauthorised access - You unknowingly enter your banking details into a phishing website, and fraudsters use them to steal your money.
This product does NOT cover scams where you willingly make a payment, even if you were deceived.
Examples of non-covered scams:
Online shopping scams - Payments made for goods/services that never arrive (e.g., scams on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
Messaging app scams - Fake requests for money on WhatsApp, WeChat, or other messaging apps.
Social engineering scams - Sending money to scammers posing as loved ones, officials, or companies.
Fake investment schemes - Voluntarily transferring money for high-return investments that turn out to be scams.
Each claim is assessed individually, based on policy terms.
Unauthorised transactions must have occurred without your consent—willing transfers, even under deception, are not covered.
