Customers must fulfill the following criteria in order to open a GX Account
- Malaysian
- Individual aged 18 years and above
- Does not hold any savings account with GXBank at the time of application
- Hold a bank account with another bank in Malaysia
- Have a Malaysia registered mobile number
After successful account opening, customers are required to make a fund-in deposit within 90 days to activate their account.

Yes you can! Currently you will need to wait 24 hours after account opening before the option to link your GX Account on the Grab app is available. Linking in real time will be coming soon.
To link your GX Account with Grab, follow these simple steps:
1. Ensure that you have updated your Grab app to the latest version in the App Store / Play Store.
2. Open your Grab app and navigate to the "Finance" tab.
3. Tap on "Activate GX Account".
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the linking process.
Note: To ensure the security of your account, there is a 12-hour freeze for high-risk transactions upon linking. During this period, you won't be able to transfer large amounts of cash or increase your daily transfer limit on both the GXBank and Grab app.
You will be eligible to earn the cashback reward if you have met the following conditions:
1. Linked your GX Account to your Grab app.
2. Subscribed to or maintain an active GrabUnlimited subscription.
The RM4.90 cashback will be credited to your GX Account monthly up to 6x within the same day or 1 day from the monthly renewal date of your GrabUnlimited plan.
You can view your GX Account details and transaction history for Grab-related activities and update transaction limits. You can also topup your GrabPay wallet and make payments directly from your GX Account, earning 1.5x GrabRewards points for Transport, Food, Mart and Express services.
